Wisdom Teeth

For the majority of patients, 3rd molars commonly known as “Wisdom Teeth”, if not removed are often the source of oral infections, pathology and pain. Unfortunately, problems associated with wisdom teeth can begin as early as 14 years old and continue throughout life. Therefore, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons recommends diagnostic 3rd molar evaluation for all patients, regardless of tooth position or age. If your referring dentist, or Dr. Pollaccia has determined that you would benefit from 3rd molar removal, the procedure will be comfortably performed in our office with local anesthesia or under deep sedation.
